The dual aspect 23ft lounge/dining room has a TV, DAB digital radio and a DVD/blu-ray player & on- demand TV via the Netflix compatible NOW tv box. We have a large collection of DVDs for family viewing. There is BT fibre wi-fi access. A Franco Belge Savoy woodburning stove at this end of the lounge and an electric radiator keep the lounge warm. The window overlooks the lane, towards the east.
This end contains two 2 seater sofas.....
.... and the other end of the lounge/diner contains another two seater sofa also made in Wales for us by SofaSofa. There is an easy to use Hunter log burner. Both stoves keep in overnight on coal but we suggest using wood during the day as it is environmentally friendly. All fuel is provided. There is also another electric radiator. The drop leaf dining table and chairs can be stored under the stairs. We have a range of books and board games and leaflets on places of interest to visit. This south facing window overlooks the lane.
The kitchen has an electric ceramic hob, electric fan oven, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/drying machine, wine cooler and plenty of cutlery and crockery for 6 guests. The window looks out onto the cottage garden. There is an electric radiator and addtional wall mounted heater if needed.
The kitchen features the original exposed stone wall.
The large downstairs bathroom is equipped with WC, bath, basin and separate electric shower cubicle. Hot water is by instant electric water heater. Heating is by an electric radiator and a wall mounted electric heater.
