Our weekly rate for 2023 is between £500 in low season to £550 during the summer. Bookings normally start on Saturdays but we can sometimes be flexible.

We also advertise on many other websites. You are welcome to book directly with us as owners or via the websites. The cottage and service we provide to guests is the same - but rental/deposit prices and terms will vary as each website add their contract terms, fees and VAT.

Normal arrival time is 4.00 PM to allow us to prepare for your visit and departure needs to be at 10.00 AM to allow us to prepare for further guests. We may be able to vary these times but this can only be arranged, if available, shortly before your visit.

We will need your name and address as we will post the key a week before your holiday, just in case we are not here when you arrive.

We also need the names of all guests, as it's a condition of our insurance.

Booking with us - we ask for a £100 deposit, the balance is then due 4 weeks before your stay. You can pay us by cheque (we will send you our address), bank transfer (we will send our bank details) or PayPal with a credit or debit card (you don't need a PayPal account).

Please note we cannot accept animals under any circumstances. This is a non-smoking cottage. Our rates include all heating, wood, coal, electricity, linen, towels and wi-fi. We do not supply washing powder but do have dishwasher tablets. There are steep stairs to the bedrooms and so we advise the cottage may be unsuitable for young children and the infirm. There is easy parking for one car and advanced parking required for two average cars, right next to the cottage. We cannot accept bookings from guests bringing more than two cars.
